Hi Melissa, these grants are state based so NSW and VIC rules will be difference. You will be available for the first home buyers grant of $10,000 if you purchase or build a new property. The 50% stamp duty will also be available, provided you are purchasing a home for the first time - under the value of $600,000 and you live in in for a 12 month period. If you move out after 6 months, you will have to pay back the gross difference. To discuss further please call me on 04**** 464 or email j****@hfin****.au

Hi Melissa, the first home buyers grant in Victoria is available for newly constructed or house & land package purchases. It is not for established properties that have been previously lived in. The Office of State Revenue Victoria can provide further information as to their requirements. Please feel free to contact me to discuss further your finance requirements on 04****62 or email a****@hand****.au.

Hi Melissa. Yes you will still be entitled to it although you must move into the property within the first 12 months and live in the property for 12 continuous months. This is for new homes. If you purchase an existing home you will be eligible for a 50% stamp duty reduction. In Victoria you must also move into the property within the first 12 months, and live in it for a continuous period of 12 months.Feel free to call Daniel on 03****5596 to discuss further.
