There should be no issues with age, and if you can service the loan, most lenders will offer a 30 years loan. You yourself need to be comfortable with your exit plan, be that the loan being paid out by superannuation or you realise that if you cant pay off the loan before retirement, a move is required.

Hi Aman Thank you for your question.Age can by a factor in the terms of a loan, most mortgages have a 30 years term, you can expect to get a loan term of 20 - 25 years. However, the service ability is more important, I would recommend you filling in the enquiry form on HashChing and a broker close to you will contact you. This broker can establish your borrowing capacity and explain any other questions you may have.

Hi Aman, I see no reason why this could not be sourced from a lender. If the property is in WA maybe then reply.

Hi Aman, yes it certainly can be done. We just need to have a chat about income etc to ensure you can afford the loan via our panel of lenders. I'm in Melbourne, if that helps? If you want to chat further about this, no obligation, please sing out...Best of luck regardless, some great brokers on here :)Lee

It can be done. Your broker just needs to choose the right lender and put forward a logical exit strategy(what happens when you reach retirement age)
