Hi Bill. There may also be an option to substitute Term Deposit Security for the short term if you cannot do a "simultaneous settlement". Speak to your current Bank to see if this is the case. If not, there may be some options for you if you can show that your current income is sufficient for servicing. There are still quite a few "lite doc" loans out there that will use your current income and disregard your sabbatical. Unfortunately, I am in Brisbane Qld, but you should be able to find a Broker in W.A. that will be able to help. If not, contact me and I will find one for you. Kind Regards Gary

Hello Bill Hope you are well. The best thing to do is go back to your existing bank and ask to do a substitution is security. You will have to have simultaneous settlement when selling the house and buying the unit. There is no need for income assessment. The bank would look at the securities only. Give us a call if you need to know more....

Hi Bill, I agree with some of the comments already posted - A simultaneous settlement is one option and likely the cheapest. However depending on whether you are back in the swing of things and what your circumstances & figures show there are other options. Happy to talk
