Hi Andy, the short answer is Yes you will be refinancing an Investment property and therefor your loan will be a ‘Investment Loan’. Andy the majority of lenders are driven by purpose and usage of security. Currently this is an investment property so investment policy and rates apply. Are still some rates below 4.00% for this purpose though to explore. Reach out to help as needed.
