Hello Jason, fabulous place Tokyo, I have been there on business a couple of times. You mentioned a reasonable deposit. I see no issues with getting you a very reasonable loan to secure your purchase. I have been helping Australians in this area for the last 16 years very successfully in both Finance and Property. Happy to assist you if you like, please click on my profile to get started. Arigatou gozaimasu. Kind regards, Wladek

Kon'nichiwa Jason! Unfortunately, that's about the extent of my knowledge of the Japanese language. Fortunately however, I do know quite a bit about lending to ex-pats and those on foreign incomes. If you're looking to build long-term wealth through a property portfolio, we also have a solution available that is tailored to your circumstances and designed to meet your short, medium and long-term objectives (income yield, tax-effectiveness and growth potential) and part of that service entails locating a suitable property/ies on your behalf so all the leg-work can be done while you are still working away. If you are interested in knowing more of the detail please click on my profile and I'd be happy to give you a call to discuss it further. Best Regards, Mario.

Hi Jason - lucky you living in Japan for so long! One of my favourite places. We do many loans for both foreigners buying in Australia as well as Australians living overseas and wanting to buy in Australia. We can also help in areas of wealth creation and guide you through the associated steps of buying as a foreigner. Would love to chat to you further about your situation and determine how we can best help you. Regards Steve

Hi Jason, thanks for your question. I've done a few loans recently for 'foreign residents', it's certainly possible but you have to select the bank carefully, as they all have different policies such as Loan to Value (LVR) restrictions and income shading etc. As you are in Japan and working for a global company this will increase your options. For a more in-depth answer I'd need to know more about your situation and what you're looking to do. Please click on my profile so we can talk further. Thanks, Alex
