Hi Josh There are options available to you, depending upon the detail of your circumstances. Are you renting through an agent? Best regards Chris

Hi Joshua, as per the comments above it would be great to get a little more detail about your situation to see whats possible. There are a number of options and lenders that work with first home buyers and can use the First Home Buyers Grant and it's just a matter of learning a bit more about your income and financial situation to find a lender that fits.

Hi. The First Home Owners Grant can assist but it is only for brand new homes - either being / to be constructed or completed but never lived in before. Generally speaking the funds you will need (whether from FHOG or savings) will be 5% of the purchase price plus costs like application fees and legal fees. Have a chat with a good broker who can discuss in a bit more detail.

There are ways to do this, and if you have 5% deposit it would be better but not set in stone. Providing you can service the loan there are options including 100% using a guarantor product.
