Hi Shane I have one lender who can assist with construction under these circumstances however the bankruptcy must be discharged and it was first listed on the credit report 2 years before. In other words 2 years after it was first listed on the credit report and it's been discharged. Hope that makes sense. Simone

Hi Shane, your lending options are unfortunately limited with a co-borrower that has an undischarged bankruptcy. You really require the assistance of a broker who specialises in credit impaired finance. You will see that Lezli has replied to your comment above and specialises in working with credit impaired clientele. I suggest that you contact her as this can be an extremely difficult circumstance in which to achieve a favourable outcome without the expertise of a credit impaired specialist. Not all brokers are specialists in this area so choose someone who declares this speciality, particularly if your loan requirements are time sensitive. Good luck and I hope you achieve your dream home ownership! Regards, Trent
