My partner & I have 7 properties, 1 being principal address and 6 investments. The properties in total are worth around $2.4million with a mortgage of $570k , which is split over 2 investment properties. I am 46 and partner is 69 . I live off my investments as I am retired and my partner works part time earning around $26k a year. The rental income is $2085pw repayment is $1969 for one investment and the other $1083 for the other. I have $226k in super and partner around $12k. My exit strategy is when I am 68 and would like to continue to invest. In my own name I would like to borrow for 1 investment and would like to know how much I can borrow and if possible to borrow.
