I have multiple lenders who can assist with this process and some have excellent fixed rates that are very competitive and enable you to construct while fixed. Hi Michael, I'm happy to come and see you at Bryon, I'm just north of there on the Goldie. Sounds doable, a couple of lenders to select from with the postcode and size of the property. I am presuming that the land is not income producing like you are not running cattle or the like on it that the valuer will see when they come to visit? The refinance is done first and then the loan is drawn as the builder requests his money. So we need a 6 week start to arrange this before the builder wants to start. Call for more info, Carolyn

Hi Michael, sounds like you've got a great plan ahead for your property. It is possible to do but there are a number of variable factors that come in to it. Do you have a Fixed Price Building Contract? What is your postcode (as this will affect what lenders will be able to assist) and do you have the council zoning of the property? Hi Michael - have you got a building contract or tender for the construction of the new property. Can be done, but being a rural property, LMI wont be available with most lenders - so if you plan on an 80% lend, it should not be a problem.

Hi Michael, Congratulations on the Award for the shed Michael. With the new facility, are you looking for just over a million dollars? If I read you correctly, you want to refinance the $510,000 and then borrow $500,000-$600,000 for the dream house construction. It can be done but you would need to cover the eligible lender's policy requirements. A few would not be interested on grounds of postcode and the size of the property. We need to navigate all that.
